Tieman gets behind the Paraplegic Benefit Fund
11/Apr/2006
Tieman have joined the Paraplegic Benefit Fund (PBF) as a corporate member.
PBF is a charity that commenced in 1987, established by the late Sir George Bedbrook.
PBF is involved with all activities that relate to spinal cord injuries.
These activities range from community education, through to rehabilitation and community support.
The benefits of being a corporate member of PBF are:
- An opportunity to make a contribution and support an organization such as the PBF.
- An opportunity for Tieman to be involved with improving the life of individuals affected through spinal injuries.
- Added value to our workplace health and safety program by making use of PBF’s resources to increase awareness of spinal injuries.
- Giving our employees membership of the PBF. This means that our employees have the comfort of knowing that should the need arise, their financial trauma is eased by receiving a $100,000 benefit from the PBF.
Tieman are proud to have joined such an organization and look forward to an exciting future together with the PBF.
